CHARIS is organising a Talk cum Workshop exploring the use of art in mission work. This 3-hour interactive workshop will have a hands-on component to facilitate experiential learning.
“Art therapy is a process of retrieving images from our unconscious mind, is a powerful technique to help people resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behaviour, reduce stress and trauma, increase self-esteem and self-awareness by offering other means than words to express suffering, encourages exchange which are often difficult to achieve for a child suffering from trauma.”
