Battambang June, Cambodia Mission, 14–21 June 2025 Registration
Mission size: 50–60 participants
Battambang is a city in North-Western Cambodia, about a 5.5 hours’ drive from Phnom Penh International Airport. During the June school holidays, ACTS will run a week-long outreach with students and villagers from Chrab Viel (Mother of Peace Primary School) and ADC Don Bosco Vithayalai School.
Our activities will include music, arts &crafts, fun English, storytelling and "Grow Your Own Food in the Garden" for the Elementary Grades 1 to 6 and Secondary levels in both schools.
We hope to invite:
- Elementary school teachers and educators who enjoy creating fun learning with arts & crafts, plays, dance, storytelling and science.
- Individuals with green fingers to share their gardening skills in our ""Growing Your Own Food"" initiative with the students.
Restricted to a group of 60, ACTS is looking for participants between 10 and 70 years of age. Children between 10 and 14 years old MUST be accompanied by at least one parent. The estimated cost is $1000- $1100 which covers airfare, accommodation, mission fees (including water, land transport and most meals) but excludes personal expenses.
Applications close on 9 March 2025. You will then be notified to attend Mission Awareness and Formation Sessions (between March and May) where you can find out more details about the mission outreach and what is expected of you.
