Battambang Textile Centre
Based in Battambang, Cambodia, Battambang Textile Association for People with Disabilities (BTAPD), is a joint initiative between Spanish textile company, Ibercotton, and the Apostolic Prefecture of Battambang.
The centre was started with the purpose of creating job opportunities and an inclusive environment for those with physical impairments or at risk of social exclusion.
We are hoping to partner with organisations looking to produce t-shirts, polo tees and other apparel to work with BTAPD to fulfil their orders. This will allow the centre to continue providing those with impairments dignified jobs and support for the local community.
ACTS COVID-19 in Myanmar
To help those affected by COVID-19 in Myanmar, ACTS provided a grant that helped the Salesian Sisters of Myanmar provide enough food for 500 needy families. The Salesian Sisters distributed food amongst the St. John Bosco community in Hlaing Thar Yar, Yangon.
Let us continue to keep those affected by COVID-19 in our prayers.
