Kampot, Cambodia Mission, 6–13 Jun 2026 Registration
Mission size: 30 participants
Nestled among rice paddies, rivers, and mountains, Kampot is a charming riverside town in southwestern Cambodia. At the heart of the community is the Parish of Saint Augustine, which will anchor ACTS’ week-long mission of faith, service, and encounter. Through small-group outreach, participants will engage children using play, music, arts and crafts, and storytelling. Beyond this, the mission includes general works, medical, allied health services, and a vision care programme offering eye screening and spectacles to students and the elderly. Our aim is to cross cultural and language boundaries and share the joy of Christ’s love through presence, service, and genuine relationship.
We are seeking 30 participants aged 13–70, in good health, including:
- Creative facilitators to run expressive arts sessions for primary students, nurturing confidence, emotional expression, and communication.
- A works team to refresh rural Catholic community centres and help build a playground.
- Doctors, pharmacists, medical students, physiotherapists, occupational and special needs therapists, and allied health professionals to support mobile clinics located 1–2 hours from Kampot.
- Optometrists/Opticians for the vision care programme.
No prior mission experience is needed, just an open mind and willing heart. All participants must take part in planning and pre-formation preparations ahead of the mission.
Estimated cost per participant: $1,000–$1,200, covering airfare, week-long accommodation, local transport, mission fees, water, and most meals.
At this stage of registration, both Thailand and Cambodia have ceased all border hostilities. Should any conflict arise, ACTS will review the situation and decide whether to proceed or withdraw, following consultation with the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
